  • A-book is a great little address book that is simple to use and very powerful.

  • Adobe Reader is a free program that you need to read PDF files.

  • I use AshampooŽ Photo Optimizer 5 to "tweak" all of my photos on my laptop as well as my desktop.

  • The antivirus program I run is avast! Free Antivirus . It will automatically update whenever there are new virus definitions or when the program itself has been updated.

  • Calendarscope is a nice little calendar program that I use to keep track of all kinds of dates and activities.

  • I use CDBurnerXP to burn my CDs on my desktop system. It is a 100% free application to burn CDs and DVDs, including Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs. It also includes the feature to burn and create ISO disks, as well as a multi-language interface. Everyone, even companies, can use it for free. It does not include adware or similar malicious components.

  • I have Mailbell installed on both of my systems to check my email account on a regular basis.

  • I use, and love, Movie Collector to keep track of my growing DVD collection. A wonderful program.

  • I use Music Collector to help me organize my rather large audio CD collection. Another wonderful program.

  • Registry First Aid Platinum is what I use to fix and clean the registry on my 64-bit Windows 10 desktop and laptop systems. One small installation file for all Windows versions and processor architectures (Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, 2003 and 2008 32-bit and 64-bit) It will install the correct files, 64-bit or 32-bit to your computer.

  • I have Revo Uninstaller on both of my systems to make 100% sure I have uninstalled a program. It is a much faster and more powerful alternative to "Windows Add or Remove Programs" applet!

  • Spam Arrest makes sure I get zero spam in my email inbox.

  • ThumbsPlus is the main program I use to catalog all of the multimedia files on my computer. Files like graphics, sounds, fonts, etc.

  • Vopt is the disk defragmenter program I use. It is much better than what Microsoft built into Windows.
