Around Home
Here are
some pictures taken around our home in Placitas. You need to sketch in a
few rabbits (both jack and cottontail), lots of birds, chipmunks, coyotes, and a
gray fox. It's hard to catch them on film. . .

Our valley. We are at 6100 feet in the foothills of the
Sandia Mountains about a mile west of the old village of Placitas, a village
founded in the early 1700's.
Here is a current view of our house.
A snowy day in the winter of '99.
This was taken right after we moved in, so there is no barn, no landscaping, no
portal. But isn't the snow beautiful!

This is the view south - our valley
is to the left.
Welcome! Come on in or have a seat on the
bench so you can watch the beautiful sunset!
View from the office window. The garden is
beginning to really take off. Lots of tomatoes!
Rosemary and thyme. There's parsley and
sage in other places.
