This tile-topped table is curly maple.  The tiles are set on 3/4" plywood framed in maple.  The drawers are dovetailed.  All other joints are mortise and tenon except that the middle stretcher that holds wine bottles is dowel-jointed into the side stretchers.

We made the tiles, as well as the table.  This was a present for my daughter and her husband.  They wanted a sea theme, hence the seashell design on the tiles and the shell drawer pulls.
